TYPES OF SHEET MATERIAL

OSB or oriented strand board is made by compressing and bonding wood strands to create a strong, durable panel. OSB is known for its structural strength and affordability making it a cost effective choice for various projects.

Our selection of OSB includes square edge or tongue and groove edges.  The panels come in various thickness such as 18mm, 15mm or 11mm and have different grades such as OSB3 which is used for more structural load bearing applications.

Plywood is a sheet material made of thin layers of wood veneers bonded together.  The Plywood products come with various thicknesses and grades, such as exterior, structural and pine faced, where each group is designed for specific applications. The boards are mainly used in flooring, roofing, wall and hard boarding.

Chipboard Flooring is made from wood particles and resin compressed together to create a strong stable panel.  It is the most cost-effective building material. Available with tongue and groove edges and various thicknesses.

Hardboard is made from compressed wood fibers and is known for it's smooth surface. Hardboard is often used as a substitute for wood and comes in different finishes.

MDF stands for medium-density fibreboard. MDF is a versatile interior panel, with a smooth sanded surface that is ideal for painting.  This product can be used for many joinery purposes such as panelling, cabinet making, shelving and furniture. MDF sheets are available in a range of sizes and thicknesses.
